6 Quick Apply Part-time 6 hours ago Full Job Description Summary The Curriculum Coordinator will directly report to the Kids Pastor of Two Rivers Church.
This role includes implementation of curriculum, volunteer encouragement/empowering and the responsibilities necessary to ensure a successful and constantly improving weekend kid's services and periodic special events.
A successful Curriculum Coordinator will also implement the vision and mission of 2RC Kids Ministry.
Major Responsibilities ? Collaborate with the Kids Pastor to equip, empower and encourage volunteers for all classrooms birth through 5th grade for weekend and special events.
? Collaborate with the Kids Pastor, provide oversight for classrooms and large group experiences for kids ministry at each weekend service.
? Ensure the thorough implementation of resources to create curriculum including parent resources for all classes toddlers-5 grade.
Ensure curriculum is prepped and pulled for each class.
? Collaborate with the Kids Pastor to implement kid's registration, classroom management, and security policies/practices in support of weekend services and periodic special events.
? Collaborate with the Kids Pastor in casting vision for programming for church's annual VBS and other outreach events including music selection, development of messages/teaching, and utilization of games and other artistic elements in the inspiration of kids in learning about Jesus.
? Ensure the upkeep of classrooms.
Rotate attractive bulletin boards in classrooms and hallways.
? Assist the Kids Pastor to develop an annual budget for children's ministries.
? Assist in implementing and developing quarterly events to engage families and their kids with discipleship content in a fun, creative atmosphere.
? Assist with special programs and events throughout the year.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills/Abilities This position requires the following:
? Exemplify the leadership qualities listed in 1 Timothy 3:
1-7 ? Be fully aligned with the mission and vision of Two Rivers Church.
? Spiritual maturity to support the growth of the vibrant Kids ministry.
? Excellent organizational, administration and relational skills.
? Organized, self motivated, efficient and ability to multitask.
? Professional teaching, ministry and/or volunteer coordination experience is a plus.
? Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Google Suite.
? Knowledge of child development (physical, mental and spiritual) ? Possess or be willing to possess Children's Ministry certification through INCM (International Network of Children's Ministry) or other organization determined by Kids Pastor.
? Seek educational opportunities when possible through workshops, books, videos, and other training resources.
? Be a team player who loves kids and has a heart for children and family ministry.
This is a Part-time Hourly Position.
