Please, join us! WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE? This position is part-time, Monday - Friday, 4 hours a day (generally either 7 am - 11 am OR 1 pm - 5 pm).
As a Doggie Daycare Attendant, you have a range of exciting responsibilities.
One of your main tasks is evaluating new dogs to ensure they are a good fit for social play.
You closely observe their behaviors and personalities to determine whether they are ready to join in on the fun.
When dogs are participating in social play, you monitor them to ensure they are safe and having a great time.
You also have the opportunity to develop enrichment activities to keep dogs entertained throughout the day.
From puzzle toys to agility courses, you get to use your creativity to provide dogs with new and exciting experiences.
Throughout the day, you ensure that all social play areas are kept clean and sanitized.
In addition to working with the dogs, you also interact with their parents.
You talk with them about their dog's activities and provide updates on how they're doing throughout the day.
You love building relationships with our clients and with their furry friends! REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS DOGGIE DAYCARE ATTENDANT JOB 1
years of experience in dog daycare Able to evaluate dog behavior Love for dogs of all sizes and breeds Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting and carrying dogs Ability to work outside in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions To be successful, you need to be attentive to detail and be able to think creatively when coming up with new activities.
Additionally, you need to have excellent communication skills.
