We are now accepting applications for the position of Purchasing Assistant at our Roane County, TN facility conveniently located off I-40 at Industrial Park Road, Exit 362.
Position Overview The Purchasing Assistant will work closely with the Director of Purchasing.
The Purchasing Assistant will work in the purchasing department with various requests and administrative/clerical duties.
The Purchasing Assistant will complete these tasks in a fast paced, family-oriented environment which offers growth opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities Process weekly Excel reports related to pricing, allowances and rebates Administer internal purchasing data and programs Communicate with vendors and internal buyers on price change submissions and implementation Perform other tasks & duties as assigned Experience & Qualifications Proficient with typing, numeric key data entry and Microsoft Office Suite) Excel, Word, Power Point) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Analytical ability and problem-solving skills Ability to identify and introduce best practices Active listener.
