Job Description:
With guest service being critically important to fine dining, our servers must possess a strong ability to communicate to a high-end clientele and have a thorough knowledge of the menu in guiding each guest to their perfect dining experience. Each candidate must have the ability to learn these skills and progress quickly through the training process. Servers will also need to flawless execute pre-shift, running and closing duties. Servers will work closely with other wait staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently. Servers will meet with kitchen staff or managers daily prior to service to discuss that day's offerings. Topics in these meetings may include specials, food preparation, and ingredients used, especially if they may be a potential allergen to some diners.
In addition to our fine dining restaurant, WindRiver host numerous wedding and banquets throughout the year. Our service staff will be utilized accordingly to execute these events. Further, servers also have the opportunity to assist at Top of the Hill Grill (located at our temporary golf clubhouse) and on beverage cart on our 18-hole championship golf course.
Server Job Duties:
Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting them with napkins, service plates, and utensils in accordance with restaurant standards. o
Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. o
Helps guests select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions. o
Up-sells the guest on wine or introduces the in-house sommelier to the table to assist. o
Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests' choices; identifying guests' special dietary needs and special requests. o
Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression. o
Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from bar and kitchen; delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars. o
Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process. o
Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to guest spills or other special needs. o
Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting guests to return. o
Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to host person; returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests. o
Completion of all shift closing duties as detailed by manager.
Other duties include: greeting guests, coat check, confirming reservations, making cocktails and use of POS system, After training, servers must be able to communicate a clear understanding of our menu, sourcing, wine list, concept, and history of the development.
Training, Compensation &
Benefits: ?
All servers are compensated on an hourly basis (standard industry rates) PLUS gratuity. All gratuities are shared among the servers, server assistants and bar tender. Server gratuity per shift has averaged >$110 since opening in July 2014. ?
All servers will receive both on-the-job and structured training in all aspects of Citico's steps of service. Servers will gain knowledge of our local food providers and understand the basics of wines and wine service. Servers will participate in scheduled wine tasting to deepen their knowledge of featured wines. ?
All servers are hired into a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position based on performance, tenure and growth of the business. Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits as offered by KemperSports Management.

Qualifications: ?
Prior service experience is preferred, but not necessary. Prior experience in fine dining a PLUS. ?
Positive Attitude, Works well in a team environment, Success Driven, Reliable and Professional Appearance. ?
Servers must have a strong attention to details and excellent communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
