Job Description:
With the hostess being the first point of communication for guests as they arrive, our Hostess must possess a strong ability to communicate to a high-end clientele and have a thorough knowledge of the core operations of the restaurant. Each candidate must have the ability to learn these skills and progress quickly through the training process. Hostess will also need to flawless execute pre-shift, running and closing duties. Hostess will work closely with wait staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently.
Hostess Job Duties:
Greet guests as they arrive. Based on reservation time and arrival time, communicate to guests on the status of their reservations. Based on operational assessments, be able to suggest visiting the lounge until time for their reservation or until the remaining members of their party arrive. o
Hostess will provide coat check services to all guests based on seasonal attire. o Hostess will be responsible for taking and confirming reservations. o
Other hostess duties include (but are not limited to): answering the phone, setting tables, controlling the flow of guests to their tables, assisting servers, running food, and assisting in closing duties.
Training, Compensation &
Benefits: ?
Hostesses are compensated on an hourly basis consistent with industry standards. ?
Hostesses will receive both on-the-job and structured training in all aspects of Citico's steps of service. ?
Hostesses are hired into a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position based on performance, tenure and growth of the business. Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits as offered by KemperSports Management.
Hostess Skills and
Qualifications: ?
Prior hostess experience is preferred, but not necessary. Prior experience in fine dining a PLUS. ?
Positive Attitude, Works well in a team environment, Success Driven, Reliable and Professional Appearance. ?
Hostess must have a strong attention to details and excellent communication skills.
